I’m curious to know what you think about retirement – to hear how it’s going, what you are struggling with, what puts a smile on your face – and I’m sure I’m not the only one who is curious.  So, I invite those of you who are already retired to answer a few questions.  The purpose of the questions is to gather experiences and to then share them in an upcoming newsletter with those who have not yet retired.  I figure that it’s through shared experiences that we learn best.

Please answer any or all the questions below.  All answers will remain anonymous. To answer the questions, click here.

  1. Best Moment: What gave you the most joy in retirement so far, e.g., an event / a change in perspective / new freedoms / etc.
  1. Retirement Challenges: In hindsight, what do you wish you had known about retirement before you retired, e.g., challenges, pitfalls, unpleasant surprises?
  1. Relationship Changes: If you have a partner, how did retirement affect your relationship, both for better and for worse?
  1. Money Perspective: Has your perspective on money changed since retiring and, if so, how?

Thank you for contributing your thoughts and experiences.  I look forward to sharing all contributions in a future newsletter.
